As South Georgia struggles to rebuild amid the destruction wrought by Hurricane Helene, we urge you to keep in mind the crucial importance of maintaining residents' access to quality health care - much of which comes from free and charitable clinics. Seven GCCN clinics were damaged in some way by the storm and need donations to recover their losses and remain open to care for patients. Without these care providers, uninsured south Georgians must travel significant distances and/or pay exorbitant fees for care while many are already suffering a severe loss of security, food, and housing. Please help keep health care accessible by donating either to individual clinics (click the logo below) or via this form.
ADVOCATING FOR GEORGIA'S MOST VULNERABLE POPULATIONS
BY AMPLIFYING THE COLLECTIVE VOICE OF FREE AND CHARITY CARE PROVIDERS
OUR MISSIONWe envision a future in which all Georgians can access affordable, high-quality healthcare. To that end, GCCN fosters collaborative partnerships and provides funding, education, and advocacy to the state’s free and charity care providers.
|
WORKING FOR YOUOur advocates work exclusively on behalf of Georgia’s safety net clinics, ensuring that their needs are considered and respected by key policymakers in the state government, and were instrumental in passing and improving legislation that established the Georgia Volunteers in Medicine Act.
